During my recent stay at Villa dei Larici, I had the chance to explore the balance between luxury and value. Nestled in a quiet wooded area, the spacious, modern rooms provided a welcome retreat. The comfortable bed made for good night's sleep, while the air conditioning kept the room perfectly cool-a necessity considering the Italian heat! Breakfast was a highlight; Paolo whipped up delicious bacon and eggs, complemented by warm pastries and fresh fruit. This was a pleasant surprise, as fresh fruit is often neglected in many Calabrian B&Bs. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities, like the electric kettle and tea/coffee facilities that allowed me to enjoy a warm drink on the terrace, taking in the tranquil surroundings. The flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi were useful too, providing entertainment after a long day of exploring. While the cost might be on the higher side, the overall experience and attention to comfort make Villa dei Larici a worthwhile choice for those seeking a balance of luxury and value. For eco-conscious travelers like me, the commitment to sustainability here is an added benefit.
